Mike - President
Mike's original educational background in the industry began with his forestry degree from Michigan Technological University. He has since become a registered forester and certified arborist. He is the city forester for a few of our Metro-Detroit Townships. Mike has also dedicated his time into improving his business as well as the overall industry. He has sat on the board for a few of the local and statewide Tree Care organizations. Mike also takes pride in sustaining his business in the same community of which he raised his family in. He's taken care to employ motivated, professionally trained people that share his conviction and vision.
Cary - Vice President
Cary has over 25 years of experience in the tree industry, and has been with Mike's Tree Surgeons since its inception in 1984. As a trusted vice president, his roles have included all facets of the organization, including plant health care, sales and management.
Heidi - Arborist/Consultant
Heidi is a graduate of MSU's forestry program, is a certified arborist and joined Mike's Tree in 2001. She became a consultant in 2006 and and is proud to use her field experience as an arborist and plant health care technician to provide great service to our clients.
Gary - BioTurf/PHC Manager
Gary has over 20 years experience in Plant Health Care and Lawn Care and has been w/Mike’s since 1996. He is an accredited trainer for the MDA (Michigan Dept. of Agriculture) and teaches PHC and Lawn Care classes for the M.G.I.A. (Michigan Green Industry Assoc.) He specializes in disease diagnosis and treatment protocols. He is dedicated to providing continuing education to our Technicians so that they can offer our client’s sound, professional service and advice.
Al - Tree Care Manager
Al has over 30 years of experience in the "green industry" and has been with Mike's since 1995. His wealth of experience and arborist certification enables him to perform many duties, including managing the tree care department.
Margo - Accountant
Margo has been with Mike's since June 2000. She is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a BS in Business Administration. Her newest hobby is learning how to knit.
Dale - Customer Care Specialist
Dale has been with Mike's Tree Surgeons since 2002. She graduated from Oakland Community College with a degree in Landscape Horticulture & Technology. She began at Mike's as a Plant Health Care Technician and worked with our tree crews in the summer before moving into the office. Her hobbies include reading, karaoke, and removing poison ivy.
